Konstantin Chaus focuses his practice on the strategic preparation and prosecution of U.S. and foreign patents in the mechanical, electrical, and computer sectors.

A registered patent attorney, he drafts patent applications, advisory letters, and opinions on noninfringement, patentability, and freedom-to-operate, in addition to responses to overcome Alice rejections. He also responds to office actions, conducts interviews with examiners, and analyzes file histories for compliance with all United States Patent and Trademark Office rules and regulations.

Konstantin has experience in a wide range of technologies in the mechanical, electromechanical, electrical, biomedical and computer fields, including cellular technologies, artificial intelligence, 3D modeling, computer software-related technologies, and medical devices.

Prior to his legal career, he was a project engineer for a bridge crane and hoists company where he extensively used CAD and CAE software to draft design arrangements for a wide variety of custom jobs. He also provided on-site analysis, reviewed specifications, and computed calculations to ensure design safety and OSHA compliance.
