Lowenstein Sandler Wins New Jersey Business & Industry Association "Outstanding Employer" Award

(Roseland, NJ) September 3, 2009 - Lowenstein Sandler was named an Outstanding New Jersey Employer for 2009 by the New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA).
The honor is one of nine NJBIA "Awards for Excellence," which recognize a select group among the organization's 22,000 member companies for their outstanding achievements in expanding their business, protecting the environment, providing outstanding workplaces, and improving their communities.
The Outstanding Employer award is presented annually to one company that shows a creative and progressive approach to managing their human resources. NJBIA recognized Lowenstein for its robust Human Resources Department and initiatives, which include Lowenstein University, a program that provides employees with on-site opportunities to learn, broaden skills and share knowledge to develop careers. The firm also employs a flex-time policy that allows lawyers to work flexible hours and still be eligible for partnership and promotion.
All NJBIA members in good standing are eligible to be nominated for the awards. The winners are selected by an independent panel of judges and will be profiled in the October 2009 issue of New Jersey Business Magazine. Awards will be presented on October 20, 2009 at the Pines Manor in Edison.
