New Jersey Law & Education Empowerment Project
Jamie R. Gottlieb
July 13, 2011
Seton Hall Law School Newark, NJ
Jamie Gottlieb will be a guest speaker at the Summer Law Institute (SLI) of the New Jersey Law & Education Empowerment Project (NJ LEEP). The SLI provides forty-five rising high school students from Newark and surrounding urban areas with the opportunity to participate in a five-week criminal law course, which culminates in a mock trial. Jamie will speak on the topic of "Adult crime, adult time?," which will provide a forum for the students to debate the controversial issue of whether juveniles who commit "adult" crimes should face "adult" punishment.
