Nicole De Bello is Counsel to Lowenstein Sandler’s Litigation Department and a member of its White Collar Defense practice group. Ms. De Bello focuses her practice on white collar and regulatory defense, complex civil litigation and internal corporate investigations. She has represented clients in connection with prosecutions, investigations and proceedings initiated by the Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, United States Attorney’s Office, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), New York State’s Attorney General, New York County District Attorney’s Office, and New York Banking Authority. She has handled cases related to securities, wire and bank fraud, money laundering, insider trading, bribery, broker-dealer sales practices, stock manipulation, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, market timing, sale of unregistered securities, front-running, PIPEs, and Ponzi schemes.
Active in pro bono work, Ms. De Bello was the 2009 recipient of inMotion, Inc.'s Commitment to Justice Award for successful representation of a client in a contested divorce involving issues of domestic violence, child custody, child support and mortgage default.
Prior to joining Lowenstein Sandler, Ms. De Bello was an associate in the Business & Securities Law Group at Dickstein Shapiro. She was previously a litigation associate at Carter Ledyard & Milburn LLP.
