Mitchell J. Decter is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department.  He focuses his practice on commercial litigation, participating in mediations, arbitrations and settlement conferences with the court.

From 2003-2004, Mr. Decter served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Thomas P. Olivieri, Superior Court, Chancery Division, General Equity and Probate Part, Jersey City, where he analyzed and prepared bench memos relating to performance of contracts, partnership and corporate litigation, mortgage foreclosures and the appointment of receivers and fiscal agents.  Prior, Mr. Decter completed a Judicial Externship with the Honorable R. Benjamin Cohen - Superior Court, Chancery Division, General Equity Part, in Newark, New Jersey, writing bench memos for various pre-trial and trial motions involving injunctive relief, dissolutions of corporations, and foreclosure proceedings.  In 2001, Mr. Decter served as a legal intern with the Union County Prosecutor’s Office in Elizabeth, New Jersey, appearing before the court on pre-trial juvenile matters.
