John K. Sherwood has more than 20 of experience in bankruptcy and debtor-creditor matters including related litigation. Mr. Sherwood's practice includes the following types of matters:

  • Representing debtors; creditor committees; secured creditors; landlords; stockholders; trustees; directors; officers; employees and other parties in bankruptcy cases and non-bankruptcy business reorganizations
  • Representing parties in debtor-creditor litigation matters such as fraudulent conveyances, preferences, director and officer liability, contract disputes and similar matters
  • Counseling corporate management in insolvency situations

Mr. Sherwood was featured in the 2006 issue of New Jersey Super Lawyers in the bankruptcy section of the publication.  Additionally, Mr. Sherwood has lectured on the above topics for the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education, the Bankruptcy Inn of the Court, and other organizations.
