Edward J. Newlands is an Associate in Lowenstein Sandler's Corporate Department. His practice covers a wide range of corporate transactional matters, including venture capital transactions, debt financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions, business divorces, and hedge fund and private equity fund formation and compliance.

A former Summer Associate with the firm, Mr. Newlands' professional experience includes positions as a Student Attorney in the Entrepreneurship Clinic at the University of San Diego School of Law, where he advised low-income clients in San Diego County on matters related to small business formation and compliance (2008), and as a Learning Assistant in the University of San Diego School of Law Academic Support and Legal Research and Writing programs (2007-2009).
