Represents employers throughout the United States in virtually all aspects of labor and employment law and employment litigation, including:

    Litigating on behalf of employers in employment discrimination claims under federal, state and local fair employment laws in federal and state courts and administrative agencies; in employment contract, wrongful discharge and workplace defamation matters; under the National Labor Relations Act before the National Labor Relations Board and in federal court; in litigation and arbitration under the Railway Labor Act; in litigation and arbitration concerning employee benefits; and in labor arbitrations;

    Counseling employers concerning union avoidance, representation and unfair labor practice proceedings, collective bargaining, grievances, secondary boycotts, strikes and picketing;

      Representing public and quasi-public employers in arbitrations, collective bargaining, improper practices and proceedings before the New York State Public Employment Relations Board;

    Counseling management concerning labor and personnel issues in mergers and acquisitions, workforce reductions, mass layoffs and plant closings, and bankruptcy; and

    Advising employers concerning human resources policies; employee handbooks; sexual harassment; independent contractor matters; occupational safety and health; and compliance with federal, state and local labor and employment laws and regulations.
