Continuing the 2009 recovery, new capital of $13.7 billion was allocated to the industry during the first quarter of 2010. Positive performance has stemmed from improved investor confidence as the environment is chastened by proposed regulations, greater transparency and manager’s increasing flexibility. This panel will discuss what these recent events mean for the future of the hedge fund industry and its professions.
