On May 21, 2007, The Holliston Mills, Inc. (the "Debtor" or "Holliston") filed a voluntary petition for relief under Chapter 11 of Title 11 of the United States Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. According to the Debtor, Holliston is the nation’s oldest and largest manufacturer of coated cloth material products used for book covers, passport covers, specialty packaging materials and coated fabrics that are used as component material in the manufacture of items such as tape, sandpaper and abrasive materials and rubber products. Additionally, according to the Debtor, Holliston’s strong customer base includes major North American publishing companies, printers, bookbinders, library binders and issuers, including the United States government, of passports and other security documents. Also, according to the Debtor, Holliston supports the international security marketplace and is the United States government’s exclusive provider of high-security passport cover material.
